Safety requirements for LED modules for general lighting: Scope 1 This standard specifies the general and safety requirements for LED modules for general lighting: - LED modules without integral control devices operating at constant voltage, constant current, or constant power—— Self ballasted I.ED modules using a DC power supply below 250 V or a AC power supply below 1000 V at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Note 1: The safety requirements for individual control devices are specified in GB 19510.14. The performance requirements are specified in GB/T 24823, and note 2 is for LED modules (self ballasted lamps) with integral control devices and lamp caps (replacing existing lamps with the same lamp cap) for general lighting purposes, which are used for power supply voltage. The requirements are specified in IEC 60968 (a revised version or a new edited version of this IEC standard that expands the scope is currently being prepared). The requirements for LED modules (white ballast lamps) with integral control devices and lamp caps (replacing existing lamps with the same lamp cap) for non source voltage, general lighting are being studied. Note 3: The two types of LED modules (with and without integrated control devices) mentioned in the requirements of this standard are represented by the term "module".
