Rotating Electrical Machines - Noise Detection

Measurement methods and limits for noise emitted by rotating electrical machines - Part 1: Measurement methods for noise emitted by rotating electrical machines - Scope: This part specifies all the necessary content for measuring, labeling, and verifying the noise emission characteristics of rotating electrical machines under standard conditions. At the same time, it also specifies the applicable noise testing methods and the operating status and installation method during the test. The noise emission characteristics include sound power level and emission sound pressure level. The measurement of these quantities is used to: - compare the noise emitted by the motor; - enable the manufacturer to determine the indicated value of noise emission; And - noise control. The application of this section can ensure the same accuracy level as the measurement of noise emission characteristics using basic noise testing methods. The noise testing methods allowed in this section are the laboratory method (Level 1), engineering method (Level 2), and simplified method (Level 3). Generally, engineering level (Level 2) methods are recommended. This section is applicable to motors of any length, width, or height. 2 Normative References: The clauses in the following documents are referred to in this part of GB/T 10069 and become the clauses of this part. For dated reference documents, all subsequent amendments (excluding corrected content) or revisions do not apply to this section. However, parties to agreements based on this section are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For undated references, the latest version applies to this section.
