This standard specifies the technical information (electrical ratings), classification, structural requirements, performance, and testing of connectors. This standard is applicable to connectors without detailed specifications or safety requirements referenced in this standard, with a rated voltage of AC or DC 50 V-1000 V and a rated current of contact not exceeding 125A. For connectors with a rated voltage not exceeding 50V, this standard can be used as a reference. In this case, the electrical clearance and creepage distance should refer to the provisions of GB/T16935.1. This standard can also be used as a reference for connectors with rated current higher than 125A for each contact. This standard does not apply to connectors used within (or on) equipment that already has applicable safety standards. The following normative references are essential for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document. For undated references, the latest version (including all modification orders) applies to this document.
