
This standard belongs to the engineering level measurement method and is applicable to the noise measurement of various electric tools (hereinafter referred to as tools) under stable operating conditions. This standard specifies the measurement method of A-weighted sound power level. The method of measuring the sound pressure level on the measuring surface of the enveloping sound source within one or more reflecting planes (indoor or outdoor) to calculate the sound power level of the sound source is provided. The requirements for the testing environment, measuring instruments, and the calculation method for the surface sound pressure level and sound power level are also provided. The accuracy level of the measurement results of sound power level is level 2.
