This part of GB/T17215 is only applicable to newly manufactured electromechanical active energy meters (hereinafter referred to as instruments) used for measuring AC active energy in 50Hz or 60Hz networks with levels 0.5, 1, and 2, and their type tests. This section applies to indoor and outdoor electromechanical energy meters composed of measuring elements and one or more registers installed in the same case, as well as to one or more working indicators and one or more test outputs. If the instrument has a measuring element that measures more than one type of electrical energy (multiple energy meters), or when other functional elements such as maximum demand indicator, electronic rate register, time switch, ripple control receiver, data communication interface, etc. are also enclosed in the instrument case. Of course, standards related to these elements also apply. This standard only applies to the measurement part. This section does not apply to: a) instruments with terminal voltage exceeding 600V (multiphase instruments have line to line voltage); b) Portable instrument; c) The data interface of the instrument register. Acceptance inspection shall comply with the basic guidelines given in GB/T3925-1983 (Acceptance Methods for Level 2.0 AC Energy Meters) eqvIEC60514:1975. The reliability shall be in accordance with the content of the series of documents IEC 62059 "Reliability of AC Measurement Equipment". 2 Normative References: The clauses in the following documents are referred to as clauses in this part of GB/T17215. For dated reference documents, all subsequent amendments (excluding corrected content) or revisions do not apply to this section. However, parties to agreements based on this section are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For undated references, the latest version applies to this section.
