This standard specifies the environmental, mechanical, and electrical testing methods and procedures for military microelectronic devices, as well as the necessary control and limiting measures to ensure the quality and reliability required for the intended use of microelectronic devices. This standard is applicable to microelectronic devices for military and space applications. If the manufacturer indicates or claims that their semiconductor integrated circuits comply with the provisions of this standard, they must meet the requirements of methods 5004, 500s, or 5010 (for complex microcircuits). Hybrid integrated circuits should meet the requirements of GJB 2438, as well as the general requirements of this standard and other referenced test methods. The product specifications should be confirmed by the standardization agency. 2. The relevant clauses in the following documents become the clauses of this standard through reference. Any reference document with a date or revision is not applicable to this standard, and any subsequent modifications (excluding corrected content) or revisions are not applicable.
