This standard specifies the energy efficiency level, energy efficiency limit values, test methods, and inspection rules for household and similar microwave ovens (hereinafter referred to as microwave ovens). This standard applies to microwave ovens with a maximum rated input power of 2500W and below, utilizing electromagnetic energy in the ISM frequency band of 2450MHz, and heating items and food inside the furnace chamber using resistive electric heating elements, including combination type microwave ovens. This standard does not apply to commercial microwave ovens, industrial microwave ovens, and microwave ovens with range hoods. Note: The ISM frequency band is the electromagnetic frequency range determined by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and adopted in the International Radio Interference Special Committee (CISPR) standard numbered CISPR11. The following normative references are essential for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document. For undated references, the latest version (including all modification orders) applies to this document. GB4706.21 Safety Requirements for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Microwave Ovens, including Combined Microwave Ovens - GB/T 18800 Performance Test Methods for Household Microwave Ovens: IEC62301 Household Electrical Appliances - Measurement of Standby Power - Terms and Definitions - GB/T 4706.21, GB/T 1800, and IEC 62301, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document. 3.1 Efficiency for microwave ovens The ratio of the effective output energy of a microwave oven to the input energy, expressed as a percentage (%). 3.2 Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for microwave ovens The minimum allowable efficiency value of a microwave oven under standard testing conditions, expressed as a percentage (%), provided that the standby power, shutdown power, and barbecue energy consumption limits are met. 3.3 Maximum allowable values of energy consumption for gill function This standard specifies the maximum allowable energy consumption value of the microwave oven barbecue function under the testing conditions, in watt hours (W ● h). 3.4 Off mode: The microwave oven is connected to the power supply but does not provide any standby or main function mode. The indicator light used only to indicate that the microwave oven is in a shutdown state also belongs to shutdown mode P>
