This part of GB/T 16935 specifies the insulation coordination of equipment in low-voltage systems. This part is applicable to equipment with an altitude of up to 2000 meters, rated voltage AC up to 1000 V, rated frequency up to 30 kHz, or DC up to 1500 V. According to the performance standards of the equipment, this section specifies the requirements for electrical clearance, creepage distance, and solid insulation of the equipment. This section includes electrical test methods related to insulation coordination. The minimum electrical room specified in this section does not apply to areas with ionized gases. Special requirements related to this situation can be handled by the corresponding product standard technical committee. This section does not involve determining the following distances: firstly, through liquid insulation; One - through gases other than air: One through compressed air. Note 1: The insulation coordination of equipment in low-voltage systems with rated frequencies above 30 kHz shall be in accordance with IEC 60664-4. Note 2: The internal circuits of the equipment may experience higher voltages. Note 3: Guidelines for determining dimensions above an altitude of 2000 meters are shown in Table A.2. This section is an electrical basic safety standard aimed at guiding the relevant product standard technical committees to reasonably formulate relevant requirements for various equipment under their responsibility, in order to achieve the purpose of insulation coordination. This section provides necessary guidance for the product standard technical committees to determine the electrical clearance, creepage distance, and solid insulation of equipment in air. Manufacturers and product standards technical committees are responsible for applying the requirements specified in this basic safety standard. If necessary, these requirements are referenced within the scope of the equipment standard. If the relevant product standards do not specify the values of electrical clearance, creepage distance, and requirements for solid insulation, or in the absence of standards, this section applies. 2 Normative references: The clauses in the following documents are subject to GB/T 16935 The reference in this section of 1 becomes the clause of this section.
