The ballast can also include a power supply voltage conversion device, as well as a device that helps provide starting voltage and preheating current. 3.2 Independent Ballast is a control device for a lamp that consists of one or more components and can be installed independently outside the lamp without any auxiliary housing, and has the protection function indicated by its logo. This device can be an internal ballast equipped with a suitable housing that meets all the necessary protective functions indicated by its logo. 3.3 Built-in ballasts are generally designed to install control devices for lights inside lamps, junction boxes, enclosures, or similar equipment. Without special protective measures, such devices should not be installed outside the lamps.
