Acoustic Testing of Technical Buildings in Radio and Television Centers

This part of GB/T 19889 specifies the on-site measurement method for the air sound insulation performance of interior walls, floors, and doors between two rooms under diffuse sound field conditions, as well as the method for determining the sound insulation effect for house users. This method provides the amount of air sound insulation that varies with frequency. By using GB/T 50121, sound insulation can be transformed into a single value evaluation quantity that characterizes acoustic characteristics. The measurement results can be used to compare the sound insulation performance between rooms and compare the actual sound insulation amount with the specified requirements. Note 1: Laboratory measurements of airborne sound insulation for building components can be found in GB/T 19889.3-2005, and Note 2: The on-site residual amount of airborne sound insulation for exterior wall components and exterior walls can be found in GB/T 19889. 5-2005. The clauses in the following documents are referred to as clauses in this part of GB/T 19889 through normative references. For dated reference documents, all subsequent amendments (excluding corrected content) or revisions do not apply to this section. However, parties to agreements based on this section are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For undated references, the latest version applies to this section.
