This standard is applicable to LCD TVs and organic light-emitting diode TVs that operate normally under AC 220 V, 50 Hz power supply conditions, with ground, cable, satellite, or other analog, digital signal reception, demodulation, and display as their main functions (hereinafter collectively referred to as "flat panel TVs") It is also applicable to LCD and organic light-emitting diode display devices that primarily function as televisions and do not have a tuner, but are circulated as television products. This standard applies to set-top boxes that operate normally under AC 220 V, 50 Hz power supply conditions, including wired set-top boxes, ground set-top boxes, satellite set-top boxes, and network set-top boxes.
