The radiation protection requirements for industrial X-ray testing room testing require protection and safety. The setting of the testing room should fully consider the surrounding radiation safety, and the operating room should be separated from the testing room and try to avoid the direction of useful wire harness irradiation. Partition management should be implemented in the testing workplace. Generally, the internal area enclosed by the wall of the inspection room is designated as a control area, and the adjacent area outside the wall is designated as a supervision area. The radiation shielding of the X-ray inspection room wall and the population door should simultaneously meet the following requirements: a) the weekly dose reference control level for personnel at the point of concern, which should not exceed 100 uSv/week for occupational workers and 5 pSv/week for the public; b) The reference control level for the highest ambient dose equivalent rate at the point of concern shall not exceed 2.5 pSv/h. 4.1.4 The radiation shielding on the top of the testing room should meet the following requirements: a) When the building above the testing room has been built, the proposed building, or the adjacent building near the testing room is within the three-dimensional angle area from the radiation source point to the edge of the inner surface of the testing room top, the radiation shielding requirements on the top of the testing room are the same as 4.1.3; b) For the top of the inspection room that does not require personnel to reach, the dose rate reference control level at 30 cm outside the top surface of the inspection room can usually be taken as 100 pSv/h. The inspection room should be equipped with a door machine interlocking device and ensure that the X-ray device can only perform inspection operations after the doors (including personnel doors and cargo doors) are closed. When the door is opened, X-ray irradiation should be stopped immediately. Closing the door cannot automatically start X-ray irradiation. The setting of the door machine interlocking device should facilitate the personnel inside the testing room to leave the testing room in case of emergency. The entrance and interior of the inspection room should be equipped with indicator lights and sound prompt devices that display the "ready" and "illuminated" states simultaneously. The 'preparation' signal should last long enough to ensure the safe departure of personnel in the testing room. There should be a clear difference between the "preparation" signal and the "irradiation" signal, and it should be distinct from other alarm signals used in the workplace. The irradiation status indication device should be interlocked with the X-ray detection device
