Electrical product testing in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments

The emission requirements specified in this part of GB 17799 are applicable to electrical and electric hand equipment used in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments. The frequency range applicable to this section is 0 Hz to 400 GHz. Frequency bands not specified in the standard do not require measurement. If there are no relevant product or product electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) emission standards, then this section of the general EMC emission standards applies. This section applies to equipment directly connected to the low-voltage public power grid or connected to the low-voltage public power grid through a dedicated DC power supply. This section also applies to battery powered equipment or non public, non industrial low-voltage power distribution system power supply equipment used in the following situations. This section covers the indoor and outdoor environments of residential, commercial, and light industrial venues. The places listed below (although not comprehensive) provide some explanations of the environment, including: residential areas, such as residences, apartments, etc; Retail outlets, such as stores, supermarkets, etc; Commercial buildings, such as offices, banks, etc; Public entertainment areas, such as cinemas, public bars, dance halls, etc; Outdoor places, such as gas stations, parking lots, amusement parks, and sports centers. Light industrial sites, such as workshops, laboratories, maintenance centers, etc. Any place where low-voltage power supply is directly obtained through the public power grid belongs to residential, commercial, and light industrial environments. The purpose of this section is to specify emission testing requirements for continuous and transient, conducted, and radiated disturbances of the equipment within the applicable scope. The emission requirements specified in this section ensure that the disturbance levels generated by equipment operating normally in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments do not hinder other equipment from operating in the predetermined manner, but do not take into account the fault status of the equipment. The suggested tests in this section do not include all disturbance phenomena, but only consider disturbance phenomena related to the equipment covered by this section. These requirements indicate the basic electromagnetic compatibility emission requirements. This section specifies test requirements for each port considered. Note 1: There are no safety requirements in this section. Note 2: In special circumstances, the limits specified in this section cannot provide sufficient protection, such as using sensitive receiving devices near the equipment. In these cases, additional measures to reform and popularize may be necessary. Note 3: The requirements of this section are more stringent than those of GB 17799.4, and if the equipment meets the requirements of this section, it also meets the requirements of GB I7799.4. The following normative references are essential for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document. For undated references, the latest version (including all modification orders) applies to this document.
