Testing of small valve controlled sealed lead-acid batteries

This part of GB/T 19639 specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of general valve regulated lead-acid batteries (hereinafter referred to as batteries). This section is applicable to various DC power supply batteries with a rated capacity of less than 65Ah (including 65Ah) for emergency lighting equipment, uninterrupted power supply, mobile measurement equipment, etc. The single cell battery of this type of lead-acid battery can be either a flat electrode installed in a square groove or a coiled electrode installed in a cylinder. The sulfuric acid electrolyte in the battery is non flowing, or adsorbed in the microporous structure between the electrodes or in the form of a colloid. This section does not apply to batteries used for other purposes, such as starting lead-acid batteries, traction lead-acid batteries, fixed valve regulated lead-acid batteries, sealed lead-acid batteries for electric power assistance, and miniature valve regulated lead-acid batteries. The following normative references are essential for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document.
