This chapter of GB 19212.1-2008 is replaced by the following: This part of GB 19212 specifies the safety requirements for general purpose small reactors. Note 1: Safety requirements include electrical, temperature, and mechanical aspects. Unless otherwise specified, the following "transformers" or "reactors" include small reactors. This section is applicable to stationary or mobile, single-phase or multiphase, air cooled (self cooled or air cooled), independent or supporting general-purpose reactors, including AC, pre excitation, and current compensation reactors. The rated power supply voltage shall not exceed 1000 V AC or 1500 V ripple free DC, and the rated power supply frequency and internal operating frequency shall not exceed 1MHz. Rated capacity not exceeding: - single-phase reactor, AC 25 kvar (DC 25 kW); - Multiphase reactor, AC 50 kvar (DC 50 kW). When agreed upon by the purchaser and manufacturer, this section also applies to reactors without rated capacity limitations. This section is applicable to dry type reactors. The winding can be encapsulated or non encapsulated. This part does not apply to: - Reactors included in 1EC 60289; -- Ballasts for tubular fluorescent lamps included in IEC 61347-2-8-- Ballasts for discharge lamps (excluding tubular fluorescent lamps) included in IEC 61347-2-9. Note 2: For reactors filled with liquid media or powder materials (such as sand), additional requirements are under consideration. Note 3: The following situations should be noted: - For reactors intended for use on vehicles, ships, or aircraft, additional requirements may be required (according to other applicable standards, national regulations, etc.)—— Protective measures to avoid external influences such as mold, pests, termites, solar radiation, and icing on the shell and components inside the shell should also be considered—— The different conditions for transportation, storage, and operation of reactors should also be considered—— For reactors intended for use in special environments, such as tropical environments, additional requirements that comply with other applicable standards and national regulations can be adopted.
