This standard specifies the testing principles, instruments, and methods for the volume resistivity of conductive and anti-static plastics. This standard is applicable to plastics with a volume resistivity less than 10-m. The principle of testing is to calculate the volume resistivity by measuring the stable direct current (I) flowing through the sample and the voltage (V) between the corresponding voltage electrode edges on the sample.
