This standard specifies the methods and requirements for helium leak detection. These detection methods or techniques can be used to determine the location of leaks or measure leakage rates. For dated reference documents, all subsequent amendments (excluding corrected content) or revisions are not applicable to this standard. During this testing process, attention should be paid not to block any potential leaks on the inspected parts. 4.2 Specific requirements for using the leakage detection method or technology of this standard should consider the following: a) Qualification and certificate of testing personnel (see GB/T 9445); b) Technical standards; Detection range; Acceptable detection sensitivity or leakage rate; e) Reporting requirements; F Record keeping. 4.3 Equipment and Equipment 4.3.1 Pressure/Vacuum Gauges 4.3.1.1 Range When using a scale indicating or recording pressure gauge in leak detection, its range should be twice the expected maximum pressure. But its range shall not be less than 1.5 times the maximum pressure, nor greater than 4 times. The limits of these ranges are not limited to scale indicating or recording vacuum meters.
