The scope and normative reference of this chapter in document GB14536.1 is replaced by the following: 1.1 This section is applicable to automatic water flow and air flow sensitive controllers used on or with household and similar equipment (including heaters, air conditioners, and similar equipment). The equipment uses electricity, gas, petroleum, solid fuels, solar thermal energy, or a combination of them. Note: For example, automatic water flow and airflow sensitive controllers used in sealed boilers, air conditioning coolers, and ventilation equipment. 1.1.1 This section applies to the inherent safety operating values and procedures related to equipment protection, as well as to the testing of automatic water flow and airflow sensitive controllers used in household and similar equipment, on equipment, or in conjunction with equipment. This section also applies to controllers for electrical appliances within the scope of GB 4706. Devices that are not intended for general household use but may still be used by the public, such as those intended for use by non professionals in shops, light industries, and farms, and their automatic water flow and airflow sensitive controllers are also within the scope of this section. This section also applies to individual controllers that are part of the control system, or controllers that are mechanically combined with multi-functional controllers with no battery output. This section is not applicable to pressure sensitive controllers, and the requirements for these controllers are included in GB 14536.7. This section does not apply to electric automatic water flow and airflow sensitive controllers specifically designed for industrial use. Note that in the second part, the term 'equipment' includes' appliances and equipment '. 1.1.2 This section is applicable to electrical automatic controllers that respond or control air and water flow through mechanical or electrical operations. 1.1.3 This section includes electrical performance requirements for water flow and airflow sensitive controllers, as well as mechanical performance requirements that may affect electrical safety. 1.1.4: Usually, these water flow and airflow sensitive controllers are integrated or installed in the equipment, or intended to be integrated or combined into or on the equipment. When these controllers are installed independently or in a wired structure, the second part is not included in this section. 1.2 This section is applicable to controllers with a rated voltage not exceeding 660 V and a rated current not exceeding 63A. 1.3 This section does not consider the automatic action response value of the controller, if this response value depends on the installation method of the controller on the device. If the response value has a significant impact on the safety of users or the surrounding environment, the response value specified in the corresponding household appliance standard or determined by the manufacturer shall apply. 1.4 This section also applies to controllers equipped with electronic devices, and its requirements are included in Appendix H. 1.5 Normative References: The clauses in the following documents are referred to as clauses in this part of GB 14536. For dated reference documents, all subsequent amendments (excluding corrected content) or revisions do not apply to this section. However, parties to agreements based on this section are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For undated references, the latest version applies to this section. Added: GB 14536.7 Special requirements for household and similar electrical automatic controllers and pressure sensitive electrical automatic controllers (including mechanical requirements) (idt GB14536.7-1996, EC 60730-2-6; 1991)
