1 Scope and Object 1.1 Scope This standard is applicable to household electric food processing appliances. The purpose of this standard is to specify and clarify the testing methods for the functions that household electric food processing appliances can perform, which is related to the interests of users. At the same time, this standard provides guidelines for the evaluation of test results. Considering the low accuracy and repeatability caused by changes in time, the sources and raw materials of testing materials, and the subjective judgment of testers, the testing method is more practical for comparing multiple instruments conducted in the same laboratory by the same tester at almost the same time, rather than testing a single instrument in different laboratories. Due to the undefined type or size of the oven provided, and the fact that several tests require baking of the final product to determine volume, the expected use of different ovens may result in changes in results. Therefore, all comparative tests should use the same oven. This standard does not involve safety in areas outside the scope of 1.2.
