Testing of electrical accessory installation boxes and enclosures for household and similar fixed el

This part of GB 17466 is applicable to the installation boxes of electrical accessories for household and similar fixed electrical installations with rated voltages not exceeding 1000 V (a.c.) and 1500 V (d.c.) for indoor or outdoor use, Shell or shell components (hereinafter collectively referred to as "installation box" and "shell"). Note: The requirements for the special type of installation box and shell can be found in the corresponding GB 17466 Part 2. Installation boxes and shells that comply with this part are suitable for ambient temperatures usually not exceeding 35 ℃, occasionally reaching 40 ℃. Note: Considering the geographical and climatic environment of China, some areas of China have a humid tropical climate, so the environmental temperature for the use of the shell is specified as Usually not exceeding 35 ℃, occasionally reaching 40 ℃ ". The environmental temperature specified in IEC 60670-1 is" usually not exceeding 25 ℃, occasionally reaching 35 ℃ ". This part is applicable to household circuit breakers and similar equipment (corresponding to IEC/SC 23E) in the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Electrical Accessories (TC 67) and the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Low Voltage Electrical Appliances (TC 189) Installation box and casing for electrical accessories. Note: This section can also serve as a reference document for other standardization technical committees and sub committees. The installation box and casing that become an integral part of the electrical accessory and can provide protection against external influences (such as mechanical impact, solid or water entry, etc.) are applicable to the relevant standard requirements of the electrical accessory. This section does not apply to: - ceiling light junction boxes; - lighting support accessories—— Installation boxes, enclosures, and enclosure components specifically designed for GB/T 19215 cable tray systems and not intended for installation outside of these systems. 2 Normative References: The clauses in the following documents are referred to in this part of GB 17466 and become the clauses of this part. For dated reference documents, all subsequent amendments (excluding corrected content) or revisions do not apply to this section. However, parties to agreements based on this section are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For undated references, the latest version is used in this section.
