
This standard specifies the classification and marking of safety belts, technical requirements, inspection rules, and markings. This standard applies to safety harnesses used in high-altitude operations, climbing, and suspension operations. This standard is applicable to users who have a weight and a total load not exceeding 100 kg. This standard does not apply to seat belts for sports, fire protection, and other purposes. The clauses in the following documents are referred to as provisions of this standard through normative references. For dated reference documents, all subsequent amendments (excluding corrected content) or revisions are not applicable to this standard. GB/T 6096-2009 Safety Belt Test Method 3 Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this standard. 3.1 Personal fall protection systems are personal protective equipment used to prevent high-altitude workers from falling or to hang them safely after a fall occurs.
