1. Scope of Application
This part of GB/T 17215 specifies the terminology, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage of multifunctional energy meters (hereinafter referred to as instruments). This section is applicable to static multifunctional energy meters installed and used in power grids with a rated frequency of 50 Hz (60 Hz). This section only applies to the combination of static energy measurement mechanisms, functional components, and meters (displays) enclosed in a single case, as well as their accessories, installed indoors and used inside the meter box, including the built-in current transformer. The metrological performance of the instrument should meet the national standard requirements for static energy meters with corresponding level indices. If a measuring institution measures multiple electrical parameters (such as current, voltage, frequency, apparent energy, power factor, phase, etc.) or is equipped with other functional components, it should also comply with national standards related to these electrical parameters and functional components. 2 Normative References: The clauses in the following documents are referred to in this part of GB/T 17215 and become the clauses of this part.
