1. Scope of Application
This standard is applicable to Information Technology Equipment (ITE) as defined in GB 9254-2008. The purpose of this standard is to propose appropriate requirements for the inherent immunity of ITE to ensure that the equipment operates normally in its intended environment. This standard specifies the requirements for immunity testing of equipment to continuous and transient conducted and radiated disturbances, including electrostatic discharge (ESD). This standard specifies the measurement methods and limits for ITE in the frequency range of 0 Hz to 400 GHz. For special environmental conditions, mitigation measures may be required, and for testing and performance evaluation purposes, some tests may be conducted within specified frequency bands or under selected frequency conditions. Equipment that meets the immunity requirements at these frequency points is considered to also meet the requirements in the full frequency range of 0 Hz to 40C GHz. Specify test requirements for each port being considered. Note 1: Safety requirements are not included in this standard. Note 2: In some special cases, the disturbance level may exceed the level specified in this standard, such as when using a handheld transmitter near the device.
