This chapter of GB 2099.1 applies with the following modifications: This part of GB 2099 applies to AC fixed interlocking switch sockets with or without grounding contacts, rated voltage of 50 V or above but not exceeding 440 V, and rated current not exceeding 32A for household and similar purposes, indoor or outdoor use. Interlocked switch sockets that comply with this part are composed of sockets that comply with GB 2099.1 and switch interlocks that comply with GB 16915.1 and/or GB 16915.2, forming a complete part. For fixed accessories equipped with threaded terminals, the maximum rated current is only 16 A. This section does not include the requirements for concealed installation boxes. This section includes the requirements for surface mounted installation boxes necessary for testing sockets. Note 1: The general requirements for installation boxes are given in GB 17466. Note 2. This section does not apply to sockets with interlocking devices that comply with GB10963, GB 16916, and GB16917. This section can serve as the requirements and testing guidelines for these related attachments. This section does not apply to: - industrial sockets with interlocking devices- ELV socket with interlocking device. Accessories that meet the requirements of this section are suitable for use in ambient temperatures typically not exceeding 35 ℃ and occasionally reaching 40 ℃.
