Switch (delay switch) detection for fixed electrical devices

This chapter of the scope GB/T16915.1-2014 is applicable after the following modifications: the first and second paragraphs are changed to read as follows: This part of GB/T 16915 specifies the classification, marking, mechanical performance, electrical performance, and other technical requirements for time delay switches. This section is applicable to time delay switches (TDS) operated manually and/or remotely on fixed electrical devices with a rated voltage not exceeding 440V and a rated current not exceeding 63A, used for household and similar purposes for indoor or outdoor use. TDS is equipped with a mechanical, thermal, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrically operated delay device, or a combination of the above methods to operate the delay device. The electronic delay switch is within the range of GB/T 16915.2. Switches with only passive components such as resistors, capacitors, positive temperature coefficient (PTC) components, negative temperature coefficient (NTC) components, and printed circuit boards are not considered electronic delay switches. The following normative references are essential for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document. For undated references, the latest version (including all modification orders) applies to this document.
