1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements for the identification process, methods, and acceptance criteria of safety level transformers installed outside the containment of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants that can perform their safety functions under normal operating conditions and seismic loads. This standard is applicable to dry-type distribution transformers with a rated voltage of (6-10) kV. This standard does not apply to oil immersed power transformers
