1 Scope
This standard specifies the safety requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for power batteries (hereinafter referred to as batteries) used in electric vehicles. This standard is applicable to lithium-ion batteries and nickel metal hydride batteries loaded on electric vehicles, as well as individual and module batteries. Other types of batteries shall refer to it

3 Terminology and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2900.41, GB/T 19596, and the following apply to this document. 3.1

Combines more than one single battery in series, parallel, or series parallel, with only one pair of positive and negative output terminals, and serves as a combination for power supply.
