Lamp and Lamp Systems GB 1312-2007 Tubular Fluorescent Lamp Holders and Starter Holders

Scope

This standard specifies the technical and dimensional requirements for lamp holders and starter holders for tubular fluorescent lamps, as well as the test methods for determining the safety and compatibility of the lamp in the lamp holder and the starter in the starter holder This standard applies to independent and built-in lamp holders for tubular fluorescent lamps equipped with lamp caps as shown in Appendix A, as well as independent and built-in starter holders for starters operating in AC circuits with an effective voltage not exceeding 10000V and complying with GB20550-2006 This standard also applies to single ended tubular fluorescent lamp holders with an integrated shell and base. This type of holder is similar to Edison screw lampholders (such as G23 and G24 lampholders) and should be further inspected in accordance with the following provisions of GB17935-2007: 8.4; 8.5; 8.6; 9.3; 10.7; 11; 12.2; 12.5; 12.6; 12.7; 13; 15.3; 15.4; 15.5; 15.9 Lamp holders with cylindrical threads for lampshade fastening rings should comply with IEC60399. This standard also applies to lamp holders integrated with lamps or intended for installation inside appliances (only including requirements for lamp holders). For all other requirements, such as anti electric shock protection in the terminal area, it should comply with the standard requirements of the relevant equipment and be installed in a suitable device first. When inspecting according to the device's own standards, it should also be tested. Lamp holders for use by lamp manufacturers should not be sold for retail. In terms of reasonable use of this standard, it also applies to lamp holders, starter holders, and light source connectors other than the aforementioned types This standard uses the term "holder" to refer to lamp holders and starter holders
