Scope
This standard is applicable to applying AC voltage to the sample through continuous and uniform voltage boosting or stepwise voltage boosting until breakdown, measuring the breakdown voltage value, and calculating the breakdown strength of the sample. By using a rapid voltage boosting method, the voltage is raised to the specified value, and the sample is maintained for a certain period of time without breakdown. This specified value is determined as the withstand voltage value of the sample
