This section should be used in conjunction with GB7000.1. This part is equivalent to IEC60598-2-7:1982 "Luminaires - Part 2-7: Special requirements for garden portable luminaires" [including Amendment 1 (1987) and Amendment 2 (1994)]. For ease of use, the following editorial modifications have been made to this section: - Regarding the applicable light sources, they have been changed to be consistent with IEC60598-1, that is, the original tungsten filament lamps, tubular fluorescent lamps, and other gas discharge lamps have been changed to electric light sources (Chapter 1); -—— Change IEC60083 to the relevant Chinese standard GB1002 (6.6); -—— Regarding the power sockets installed on Class I lighting fixtures, the IEC60598-2-7 requirement that "power sockets installed on Class I lighting fixtures are only allowed to be connected to Class I and II lighting fixtures" should be changed to "power sockets installed on Class I lighting fixtures are only allowed to be connected to Class I lighting fixtures" (6.6). This section replaces GB7000.3-1996 "Safety Requirements for Portable Luminaires Used in Gardens". The main technical differences between this part and GB7000.3-1996 are as follows: - - Added the requirement for marking, that is, the maximum power calculated from the maximum rated current of the power line (5.1) should be marked on the lamp; -—— Regarding the connection between sockets and corresponding plugs for power supply to other lighting fixtures, it is stipulated that the dust and water resistance levels should reach at least IP53 (6.6); -—— Removed 10.3 from the original standard regarding restrictions on the use of flat plugs; -—— The standard number of this part has been changed from GB7000.3 to GB7000.207.
