This part of GB/T 11017 specifies the test methods and requirements for cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cable systems, cable bodies, and their accessory bodies for fixed installation with a rated voltage of 110 kV (Um=126 kV). This section applies to single core cables and their accessories used under normal installation and operation conditions, but does not apply to cables and their accessories used under special conditions, such as submarine cables. For these special purpose cables and accessories, it may be necessary to modify the tests in this section or set some special test conditions. This section does not include transition joints for connecting cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables and paper insulated cables. The following normative references are essential for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document.
