1.1 Scope: This part of GB 14196 specifies the safety requirements for single ended and double ended halogen tungsten lamps with rated voltage below 250 V for the following purposes: projection (including film projection and static projection); Photography (including studio); floodlighting; Special purpose lighting; General purpose lighting; Stage lighting. This section does not apply to single ended halogen tungsten lamps used as a substitute for traditional tungsten filament lamps for general lighting as specified in GB 14196.2. 1.2 Normative References: The clauses in the following documents are referred to in this part of GB 14196 and become the clauses of this part. For dated reference documents, all subsequent amendments (excluding corrected content) or revisions do not apply to this section. However, parties to agreements based on this section are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For undated references, the latest version applies to this section. Part 3: Gauges IEC 60357:2002 Performance requirements for tungsten halogen lamps (non motor vehicle use). The terms and definitions determined in GB/T 2900.65 and the following terms and definitions apply to this part. 1.3.1 Tungsten halogen lamp A tungsten filament lamp filled with halogen or halide gas. 1.3.2 Single capped tungsten halogen lamp A tungsten halogen lamp equipped with only one lamp cap or lamp end. 1.3.3 Double capped tungsten halogen lamp A halogen lamp equipped with a lamp cap or end at each end of the lamp. 1.3.4 Ultra low voltage tungsten halogen lamp A halogen lamp with a rated voltage less than 50 V.
