Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors This standard is applicable to self starting three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors. The test of synchronous motors powered by static variable frequency power supply can be referred to and is not applicable to synchronous motors with DC excitation windings
