Scope
This standard applies to the following rail systems that include connecting lamps to a power source using two or more pole conductors:
- with grounding devices (Class I), with a rated current of no more than 16 A per conductor, and a rated voltage between poles (live conductors) of no more than 440 V, or
- without grounding (Class III), with a rated current of no more than 25 A per conductor A rail system with a rated safety ultra-low voltage not exceeding 25V, or a combination of the above two rail systems, which can be connected to the power grid lighting fixtures (Class I or II) and SELV powered lighting fixtures (Class III), but with different paths (power or SELV) The guide rail system can provide mechanical support for lighting fixtures This standard is applicable to guide rail systems designed for ordinary indoor use, which are installed on, embedded in, or suspended from walls and ceilings. These guide rail systems are not intended for use in places where special conditions often occur, such as ships, cars, etc., nor are they intended for use in harsh environments, such as hazardous areas where explosions may occur
