Scope

This standard specifies the standard conditions for photometric testing and recommends testing procedures, while providing guidance for photometric laboratory testing and the expression of lamp performance data. For lamps with actual test conditions different from the standard test conditions, the standard provides measurement requirements for correction factors This standard is applicable to the photometric testing of most types of lamps. When there are special types of lighting fixtures designed for extremely professional facilities that require measurement and data expression, this standard cannot cover their characteristics and supplementary standards should be used. These supplementary standards are referenced in appropriate chapters and sections of this standard, and special requirements and measurement conditions are defined when necessary
