However, if the laser system in the laser product is an operable device after separation from the device, then the removed unit should comply with the requirements of this section p> Note 1: Operational equipment does not require tools to be prepared for its operation p> If the manufacturer produces laser products according to the classification in Chapters 3, 8, and 9, it is not necessary to consider the requirements of this section, indicating that the emission level of the laser product does not exceed the achievable emission limit (ALE) of Class 1 under all working, maintenance, repair, and fault conditions p> Note 2: The exemption mentioned above is to ensure that originally safe laser products are not subject to standard constraints p> In addition to the hazards caused by laser radiation, laser equipment can also cause other injuries, such as fire and electric shock p> Note 3: However, the classification and other requirements in this section only address the hazards of laser radiation to the eyes and skin, and other hazards are not included in the scope of this section p> This section explains the minimum requirements. Compliance with this section may not be sufficient to achieve the required level of product safety.
