Principle of height detection light curtain sensor: The light curtain is composed of a projector and a receiver. The main components of the projector and receiver are light emitting tubes and receiving tubes, which are evenly distributed in parallel. For example, there are twenty light points (each group of light emitting tubes and receiving tubes forms a light point) corresponding to each other, and the distance between each light point is 10MM. An object such as a packaging box comes from the assembly line and blocks 20 light points through a measuring light curtain. The height of this packaging box is: 20 * 10=200MM
The height detection light curtain sensor can also be used for other purposes: suitable for online measurement of product size and appearance, correction control, centering control, tightening control, confirmation through inspection, component counting and stamping parts removal, and similar applications
The light curtain measurement system needs to be equipped with a controller for normal operation. The controller is programmed using software and can provide multiple scanning modes and detection analysis modes. It can also communicate with the PLC or computer through serial port connection, transmit control or scanning results, and can also be connected to trigger signals to control the scanning process
