Standard EN 300 422-2 V2.1.1 Purpose:
This document specifies the following types of technical features and measurement methods

a) Auxiliary Hearing Device (ALD) B) Radio microphone C) In ear monitoring system D) Wireless multi-channel audio system (WMAS) E) Tour guide system Compared with Class A receivers, Class B receivers have reduced sensitivity and performance requirements for adjacent channels, as well as selectivity and receiver blocking. It does not necessarily include all the features that users may need, nor does it necessarily represent the best achievable performance Devices with Class B receivers will support a lower operating spectrum of wireless audio channels compared to Class A receivers in a given amount This document is applicable to devices that operate on radio frequencies up to 3 GHz using analog, digital, and mixed (analog and digital) modulation (as shown in Table 1) For devices covered by this multi component deliverable device, the recommended maximum power is 250 mW microphone and 10 mW ALD The exceptions are the public hearing aids defined in CEPT Report 004 [i.7] and subsequent EC decisions 2005/928/EC [i.9] and EC Resolution 2006/771/EC
