Connectors are generally divided into two parts: plugs and sockets. 3C certification is a national mandatory certification, established as a production system to ensure product quality and maintain personal safety. Generally, socket products used in China require 3C certification, and only national standard plugs and sockets that have passed 3C certification can be used in China

The plug and socket products referred to in this regulation for household and similar purposes are suitable for indoor or outdoor use, for household and similar purposes, only for AC power, with an additional voltage above 50V but not exceeding 440V, and an additional current not exceeding 32A, with or without grounding contacts, and fixed and mobile sockets

For fixed sockets equipped with threaded terminals, the additional current cannot exceed 16A. It also applies to plugs installed in wire assemblies, plugs and mobile sockets installed in wire extension assemblies, and plugs and sockets as a component of electrical appliances, unless otherwise specified in relevant electrical specifications

(1) single-phase bipolar plugs, sockets, and appliance sockets (2) Single phase two pole grounding plug, socket, and appliance socket (3) Three phase plugs and sockets
