Review the design documents of newly built, renovated, and expanded buildings (structures), and seek opinions from meteorological authorities on the design of lightning protection devices; The completion acceptance of new, renovated, and expanded buildings (structures) should be carried out simultaneously with the acceptance of lightning protection devices and the participation of meteorological authorities Article 24 of the "Regulations on the Prevention of Meteorological Disasters" (Order No. 570 of the State Council of the People's Republic of China) states that units specializing in the design, construction, and testing of lightning protection devices shall meet the corresponding conditions and obtain a qualification certificate issued by the competent meteorological agency of the State Council or the competent meteorological agency of a province, autonomous region, or municipality directly under the Central Government 4. According to Article 19 of the "Measures for the Management of Lightning Protection and Disaster Reduction" issued by the China Meteorological Administration in its 24th order, the lightning protection devices that are put into use shall be subject to regular testing. Lightning protection devices should be tested once a year, and lightning protection devices in explosive hazardous environments should be tested every six months Article 21 of the "Measures for the Management of Lightning Protection and Disaster Reduction" issued by the China Meteorological Administration Order No. 24 requires the testing agency to issue a testing report after testing the lightning protection device. If the tested unit refuses to rectify or fails to pass the rectification, the lightning protection device testing institution shall report to the local meteorological authority, and the local meteorological authority shall handle it in accordance with the law. The lightning protection device testing institution shall comply with relevant national standards and specifications, and the lightning protection device testing report issued must be true and reliable 6.
