1. Detection object and detection location

It is advisable to set up a disconnection card at a distance of 1.8m from the ground; Check if non-metallic protective sleeves are installed below 1.5m above the ground; Check if the down lead is deformed and if there are right angles or sharp corners at the bend; Check for any breakage, mechanical damage, severe corrosion, etc. When the cross-sectional corrosion is greater than or equal to t/3, it should be replaced; Check whether the welding between the down lead, lightning arrester, and grounding device is firm and reliable, and whether there are cracks at the welding points; The layout of the down lead should include: whether it can cause lightning strike back and lightning electromagnetic pulse interference, whether there are other equipment leads nearby, whether there are cross or parallel electrical lines, and if so, measures should be taken; Whether the overvoltage of the down lead meets the requirements, whether it passes through temporary buildings, and whether it is convenient for inspection. For water towers with a height of less than or equal to 40.0m, an iron ladder can be used as the down lead; When the height is greater than 40.0m, an additional down lead should be installed or the main reinforcement inside the pillar should be used as the down lead. For chimneys with a height of less than or equal to 40.0m, iron escalators can be used as down conductors; When the height is greater than 40.0m, an additional down lead should be installed or the main steel bar inside the pillar or support should be used as the down lead The detection of grounding devices is mainly based on the actual measurement of the grounding power frequency resistance value. The grounding device mainly checks the installation position, depth, specifications, anti-corrosion, impact grounding resistance, etc., and should refer to the lightning protection design drawings in the infrastructure archives to see if the grounding device materials, specifications, layout, etc. are designed reasonably
