However, for LCD TVs, only three energy efficiency levels are generally used: level 1, level 2, and level 3. For the sake of saving electricity, it is recommended to purchase products with a level 1 energy efficiency level, which is also known as Zui energy-saving products. Why? We can calculate the power consumption. Taking a mainstream 65-inch 4K LCD TV as an example, products with level 1 energy efficiency typically consume 170W power and 0.17 kWh per hour. If calculated based on watching TV for 4 hours per day, the annual viewing time reaches 1460 hours, resulting in 0.17x1460=248.2 kWh, and an annual power consumption of 248.2 kWh

If it is a Level 3 energy efficiency TV, its product power consumption is generally 190W, consuming 0.19 kWh per hour. If calculated based on watching TV for 4 hours per day, the annual viewing time reaches 1460 hours, which can obtain 0.19x1460=277.4 kWh, and the annual power consumption is 277.4 kWh. So it means that using a TV with level 1 energy efficiency will save about 29.2 kilowatt hours of electricity compared to a TV with level 1 energy efficiency. Calculated at 0.62 yuan per kilowatt hour for municipal power supply, 0.62x29.2=18.104 yuan. Although a TV does not save much money, the huge number of TV users nationwide can imagine the savings in electricity bills
