Wireless microphone detection operating up to 3000MHz

&Nbsp&Nbsp&Nbsp; What are the testing methods for wireless microphones? A wireless microphone is composed of a portable transmitter (which can be installed in a pocket with an output power of about 0.01W) and a centralized receiver. Each portable transmitter has a different operating frequency, and the centralized receiver can simultaneously receive voice signals of different operating frequencies from each portable transmitter. It is suitable for occasions such as stage and podium

Some film and television sound workers have conducted detailed practical tests on several wireless microphones commonly used in daily work.

. The pickup of wireless microphones not only involves distance issues, but also involves sound quality issues, including distortion, noise, interference, stability, and so on

Testing

The entire test was conducted in a television production unit, mainly focusing on the actual needs of television sound work, such as equipment performance indicators, working distance in simulated actual working environments, sound waveform display, subjective evaluation of sound quality, and other items.

. This article only introduces the distance testing of the L and S groups of wireless microphones

The testing method is roughly as follows: to place the receivers of the above two sets of wireless microphones at the same point, two recording engineers carry two different types of transmitter units, namely transmitter+lavalier microphone head, or external transmitter+handheld microphone. Both move along the same route as specified, continuously providing descriptions of their location and other voice information during the movement. The receiving units respectively send the received signals to the two inputs of the mixing station, and the mixing station outputs them to the digital audio workstation for real-time track recording for recording and on-site analysis

Test

The route taken is shown in Figure 2, starting from the location where the receiver is placed and ending at the North Gate Cave.

The tested product is: (1) S-version xxxx (RF power 250mW), using an S-brand lavalier microphone head and a Sanken3xxx receiver, using the microphone output port of the machine. (2) L-brand MM4xx (RF power 100mW, 400 series digital coupling platform), using CountrymanBx microphone head, receiver of the same brand machine UCR4xx type, using the microphone output port of this machine

Function of testing report:
