On October 11, 2021, the "Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Levels for Multi unit Air Conditioning (Heat Pump) Units" (GB21454-2021) was officially released and will be implemented on November 1, 2022, replacing the original GB21454-2008
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes of this new regulation are as follows:
a) The scope of the standard has been changed, and the regulations for low environmental edge air source multi-connected heat pump (air conditioning) units have been added. B) Removed the "energy-saving evaluation value" document and requirements; C) The energy efficiency level indicators of the product have been changed;
d) Added the requirements and testing methods for low ambient temperature air conditioning units with multi connected heating systems (air conditioning);
e) The energy efficiency limit of the product has been changed;
f) Added "Implementation Requirements for Standards";
g) Removed Chapters 8-10 and Appendix A from the 2008 edition;
h) Added "Testing and Calculation of Performance Coefficients for Low Environmental Temperature Air Source Multiple Access Heat Pump (Air Conditioning) during Weaving Season"
