A transformer is a device that transforms the information emitted by a source for a certain purpose. Matrix converter is a new type of AC AC power converter. Compared with traditional converters, it has the following advantages: no intermediate DC energy storage link is required; Capable of operating in four quadrants; Having excellent input current waveform and output voltage waveform; Freely controllable power factor. Matrix converters have become one of the hotspots in power electronics technology research and have broad application prospects. In 1976, the concept and circuit topology of matrix converters were first proposed by L. Gyugyi and B.R. Pelly. In 1979, Italian scholars M. Ventutini and A. Alesina proved the existence of this frequency converter, promoting the rapid development of matrix converters. They first theoretically proved the implementation conditions of a matrix inverter with N-phase input and P-phase output, and provided a voltage control strategy. Although this control strategy solves the harmonic problem of the matrix converter, it also has serious defects such as an output input voltage ratio less than 0.5. In the late 1980s, with the development of power electronics and computer control technology, the research on matrix converters has been increasingly valued by people. In order to address the shortcomings of the control schemes of M. Venturini and A. Alesina, many scholars have conducted a series of studies on matrix converters and proposed different control schemes from different perspectives. The research on matrix converters in foreign countries has entered a stage of great development. In 1989, Japanese scholar J Oyama et al. proposed a maximum and minimum input voltage modulation technique, which believes that the phase with the smallest output voltage is always connected to the phase with the smallest input voltage, while the other two phases use PWM modulation technique to modulate the input voltage. The maximum value of the output line voltage is always equal to the minimum value of the maximum input line voltage function, that is, the output line voltage is always within the envelope of the input line voltage. In the same year, Yugoslav scholar L. Huber and American scholar D. Borojevic proposed a method based on voltage space vector modulation technology. This method defines the hexagonal switch state vectors of input current and output voltage based on the power switch state of the matrix converter, and then synthesizes the input vector from its adjacent two switch vectors at any time to obtain the switch conduction ratio within each sampling period. This technology has developed into a more mature technology
