DC ice melting technology is advanced and does not require a large load, usually only 10000 to 20000 kilowatts. Moreover, the DC output voltage is adjustable, which can be used for ice melting of individual lines of different lengths within a certain range. There is no longer a need for line series connection, and the operation is relatively simple, providing a more convenient way for line ice melting work. The fixed (thyristor) DC ice melting device adopts a 10kV power supply introduced into the substation, which is fed into a 12 pulse thyristor rectifier through a three winding rectifier transformer. After rectification, it outputs a DC voltage of 3000V/1400A. This device can achieve output voltage and current regulation functions, and can meet the DC ice melting requirements of other 110 kV and above voltage level lines in Chengqianling Substation, except for the 220 kV Chengyan Line
