Insulation partition board, also known as insulation baffle, is an insulation board made of insulating materials and must have good insulation performance. The shape and size are determined by the application. The made insulation board must pass the resistance test before it can be used. The insulation partition can be in direct contact with high-voltage charged bodies, and can serve as a temporary barrier for 35kV and below. The insulation partition can be placed between the contacts of the opened isolation switch as a measure to prevent the knife switch from falling down or accidentally closing, resulting in incorrect power transmission. The insulation partition should be installed firmly. When installing or disassembling the partition, the operator must maintain a certain safe distance from the live body. The distance should be 0.35m for 10kV and below, and 0.60m for 35kV and below. If the minimum distance cannot be reached due to on-site conditions, it should be based on the level of electrification and insulation tools must be used.
